British skeleton racer Lizzy Yarnold has said that she could not sleep before the first day of the women's event at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.
The 25-year-old leads the standings after the first two runs on Thursday.
"I was twisting and turning in my bed," BBC Sport quotes her as saying. "I was so ready for it."
Team USA's Noelle Pikus-Pace will head into Friday's final two runs, while Elena Nikitina of Russia is third.
