Great Britain cross-country skier Andrew Musgrave has revealed that he was frustrated with his exit in the quarter-finals of his event in the 2014 Winter Olympics.
The 23-year-old finished last in his quarter-final of the men's sprint, posting a time of three minutes 48.69 seconds, which was 12 seconds off the qualification pace in his race.
Musgrave told BBC Sport: "I skied absolutely terribly badly today. There is no other way to describe it. It's gutting. I picked the wrong day to ski slowly."
Norway's Ola Vigen Hattestad won the gold medal in the event.
