Stacey Kemp keen to get underway

Great Britain figure skater Stacey Kemp reveals that she is excited to get her 2014 Winter Olympics campaign underway after four years of sacrifice.

Great Britain figure skater Stacey Kemp has revealed that she is eagerly anticipating the start of the 2014 Winter Olympics.

The 25-year-old will represent Team GB in the team pairs short programme with partner David King, which will be their second appearance in the Games.

Kemp told The Citizen: "Our whole four years have been focused towards the Winter Olympics. We have sacrificed so much to get here and we feel so proud to have been selected.

"The buzz you get being part of Team GB, living in the Olympic Village and competing for your country is incredible, we can't wait to get started now."

Kemp and King will be in action later today.
