Great Britain's Charlotte Gilmartin: "I got the job done"

Charlotte Gilmartin says that she "got the job done" by progressing to the quarter-finals of the short track speed skating 500m at the Sochi Games.

Great Britain short track speed skater Charlotte Gilmartin has said that she was pleased to 'get the job done' after progressing to the quarter-finals of the 500m at the 2014 Winter Olympics.

Gilmartin sneaked through her heat this morning, while fellow Team GB skater Elise Christie also made it into the quarter-finals.

"It was a tough heat and it was a tough draw on the outside but I got the job done," Gilmartin told reporters.

"I knew I had to do some overtaking and I'm been practicing that in training. The pressure was on but I got the job done."

Fellow Brit Jack Whelbourne crashed out of the men's 1500m final earlier today.
