Team GB's Scott Andrews "confident" of gold win

Scott Andrews believes that he and his Great Britain teammates have what it takes to defeat Canada and win the men's curling in Sochi.

Great Britain's Scott Andrews has said that he is "confident" that his team will win the gold medal in the men's curling event at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.

Team GB will take on Canada in the final of the competition on Friday.

"We're confident," BBC Sport quotes the 24-year-old as saying.

"Against Canada in the round robin we only missed out by a millimetre so, if we have the chance again, hopefully the millimetre goes in our favour."

Britain have won three medals in Sochi so far.
