Great Britain fell to a crushing 16-4 defeat to Hungary in the women's water polo Group A match at the European Games this afternoon.
Vanda Valyi was the pick of the nine Hungarian goalscorers, finding the net five times as Team GB had no answer to their superiority.
Hungary led 5-2 after the first quarter, with Grace Rowland and Katherine Rogers getting on the scoresheet for Great Britain.
Rogers and Danica Brazier reduced the deficit to 5-4 in the second quarter, but Hungary turned on the style, shutting out their opponents for the remainder of the match.
The result leaves Team GB fifth in Group A, having won just once in five matches.
