Last year's junior champion Eugenie Bouchard booked her place in the third round at Wimbledon this afternoon thanks to a 6-3 6-3 victory over Ana Ivanovic.
World number 12 Ivanovic started slowly on Centre Court and soon found herself 3-0 and then 5-2 down. Then, when Bouchard was charged with the task of serving out for the set, she did so to love.
Ivanovic was broken early on in the second set, but she was able to capitalise on a couple of unforced errors from her Canadian opponent to level the score up at two games apiece.
A double break in Bouchard's favour followed and despite the fact the she gained one of those back, it proved to be too much of an uphill task for the 2007 semi-finalist.
She will now face Carla Suarez Navarro for a place in round four.
