Kirsten Flipkens has progressed to the third round at Wimbledon by beating Bojana Jovanovski in straight sets.
Both players managed to get a break in the first set, with little to separate the two, but the 20th seed found some aggressive serves to force a second break.
The Belgian improved her service game in the second set and did not face a break point throughout, while her Serbian opponent had to save five to keep herself in the contest.
However, some costly errors from Jovanovski allowed Flipkens to get the break before serving out the match.
Flipkens will face either Jelena Jankovic or Vesna Dolonc in the next round.
