Andy Murray: Roof has made "big change"

British number one Andy Murray believes that the addition of the roof at the Athur Ashe Stadium has made a "big change" to the feel of the court.

Andy Murray has said that the installation of the roof structure at the Arthur Ashe Stadium has made a "big change" to the conditions on the biggest court at the US Open.

The roof is not yet fully-functioning, but the cover is over the court for the first time at this year's tournament.

The British number one, who beat Nick Kyrgios of Australia in the first round, told reporters: "It's definitely different. Different sound, different atmosphere. I mean, it's extremely humid the last couple of days.

"Normally that court if pretty windy. Now with the sort of roof, there's barely any wind on the court at all. And yeah that's a big change."

Murray will play Adrian Mannarino in the next round.
