Richard Gasquet has eased into the quarter-finals of the Swiss Indoors with a comfortable straight-sets victory over Marco Chiudinelli.
The French third seed broke his Swiss opponent twice as he won the opening set 6-1 inside 24 minutes.
It was almost as simple in the second for the world number 13, but he could only break Chiudinelli once on his way to seeing out the match 6-4.
Gasquet will meet either Mikhail Youzhny or Matthew Ebden for a semi-final spot.
