Juan Martin del Potro has advanced to the quarter-finals of the Swiss Indoors championship with an impressive victory over Brian Baker.
The Argentine, who is seeded second for the tournament in Basel, dominated his American opponent throughout.
Baker was hanging on from the beginning of the encounter, with Del Potro almost unstoppable on his own serve.
He fired down seven aces during the first set, which was not as competitive as the margin of victory suggests.
The scoreline was more representative of the action in the second, where Del Potro cruised to success, breaking his opponent twice while never looking in danger of surrendering his own serve.
Del Potro will face either Marinko Matosevic of Australia or South African Kevin Anderson in the last eight.
