Sixth seed Tomas Berdych saw off Richard Gasquet in less than an hour this afternoon to book his place in the third round of the Shanghai Masters.
The Czech wasn't broken all match and needed just one break of serve, in the fourth game, to close out the opening set 6-3.
It was even more convincing in the second as Frenchman Gasquet held his serve once in four tries, going down 6-1 to see his tournament end in just 53 minutes.
Berdych will next face big-serving Croat Ivo Karlovic in the last 16.
