Rafael Nadal beats David Nalbandian in the final of the Brazil Open to claim his first title following a seven-month injury layoff.

Rafael Nadal has won the Brazil Open with a straight-sets victory over David Nalbandian.

The title is the Spaniard's first since his recent return to action following a seventh-month injury layoff.

Nadal saw off Argentine world number 93 Nalbandian 6-2 6-3 in Sao Paolo.

The triumph is world number five Nadal's 51st on the ATP World Tour.
