Milos Raonic eased into round three of the Miami Masters with a straight-sets victory over Russian Teymuraz Gabashvili.
The Canadian, who reached the semi-finals at Indian Wells last week, used his powerful serve to great effect as the Russian struggled to test the world number six.
Raonic was able to wrap up the opening set 6-1 and was threatening to run away with the match after forcing an early break on Gabashvili's serve in the second.
The 24-year-old remained untroubled on his own serve and that solitary break proved enough as he wrapped the match by winning the set 6-4.
Raonic now meets Jeremy Chardy in round three, after the 31st seed beat Jurgen Melzer in straight sets.
