Novak Djokovic sealed his place in the third round of the Miami Masters with a victory in three sets over Martin Klizan.
The world number one set the tone early on, bringing 11 unforced errors out of his opponent at the start of the first set to open up a 5-0 lead inside 20 minutes of play.
Inevitably, the Serb wrapped up the set without losing a game, but Djokovic was broken in the opening game of the second set as Klizan showed some fight.
However, Klizan immediately gifted the impetus back to the defending champion, as Djokovic broke back.
The Slovakian kept in touch with his opponent and, despite losing his serve in the eighth game, Klizan was able to break back straight away before making further inroads on the Djokovic serve and winning the set 7-5.
The world number one's response was immediate as he roared into a 2-0 lead in the third with an early break.
He capitalised on poor play from Klizan to further establish his dominance in the set before breaking again, allowing him to serve out and clinch the victory 6-1.
Djokovic will play Steve Darcis in the third round of the competition.
