Maria Kirilenko has booked her place in the semi-finals of the BNP Paribas Open with a 4-6 6-4 6-3 victory over Petra Kvitova at Indian Wells.
The Russian, who defeated Agnieska Radwanska in the previous round, had to come from behind to see off her Czech opponent.
Kvitova took the first set 6-4 before Kirilenko hit back to edge the second by the same score, and the decider by a slightly more convincing 6-3.
She will face either Sara Errani or compatriot Maria Sharapova in the semi-finals.
