Three-time Grand Slam champion Virginia Wade has admitted that Serena Williams is better than any other player on the women's circuit.
Wade did say, however, that having not won the French Open since 2010 Williams could start to get nervous in the latter stages of the tournament.
"Serena is looking way too good for everyone else," Wade told Eurosport. "It's been an awfully long time since she's won the French Open so it's possible she might get twitchy about it.
"Or, if she had a lot of easy matches, and then found herself in a really tight match, I'm not sure what would happen. Still, she is playing the best tennis of her life. She's in great shape. She's always fun to watch when she's focused.
"In the past you wondered whether she could continue playing tennis for much longer, as it looked as though she was itching to do other things, but she has realised that she likes playing tennis and winning."
Williams beat Caroline Garcia in her second-round match.
