Caroline Wozniacki reached the last eight of the women's Olympic singles with a straight-sets victory over Daniela Hantuchova this evening.
Slovakia's Hantuchova got off to the worst possible start on Centre Court by losing her serve to-love in the opening but she battled back by breaking straight back in the next.
Dane Wozniacki broke again in the seventh game and this time held her nerve on serve to serve out the set 6-4 in 47 minutes.
The second started in a similar manner to the first, with Wozniacki breaking serve but this time she moved further ahead with four straight games.
Hantuchova couldn't recover from the double break as Wozniacki failed to let up, moving to a 6-2 success to book her place in the quarter-finals where she faces on-form Serena Williams of the United States.
