Andy Murray has admitted that he had to use every last ounce of energy in order to help Great Britain secure a spot in the Davis Cup semi-finals.
The world number three beat Gilles Simon 4-6 7-6[5] 6-3 6-0 at Queen's Club to see Britain through to the final four of the competition for the first time in 34 years.
Having headed into the contest with his nation sitting on a 2-1 lead against France, Murray battled back to get the job done with a match to spare.
"It obviously feels unbelievable to get through that, it wasn't looking great in the second set," he told BBC Sport. "I just managed to try and find a way and used up all my last ounces of energy."
Britain will now host Australia in September's semi-final, while Belgium and Argentina meet in the other final-four affair.
