Milos Raonic secured an Australian Open semi-final date with Andy Murray thanks to a 6-3 3-6 6-3 6-4 victory over Gael Monfils in the last eight this morning.
World number 14 Raonic claimed the first set in just 36 minutes, only for his French opponent to respond in the set that followed.

However, that proved to be only a momentary blip for Raonic, who required one break of the Monfils serve in the next two sets to become the first male Canadian in history to reach the final four stage at Melbourne Park.
Murray and Raonic have met on six previous occasions, with the head-to-head record currently locked at three wins apiece.
The two last met at the Madrid Masters in 2015, with Murray coming out on top 6-4 7-5.
