Grigor Dimitrov dumps out Milos Raonic

Grigor Dimitrov is through to the fourth round of the Australian Open after beating Milos Raonic in four sets.

Number 11 seed Milos Raonic has been knocked out of the Australian Open after he suffered a four-set defeat to Grigor Dimitrov.

The first two sets were shared before the Bulgarian began to find more consistency to run out a 6-3 3-6 6-4 7-6 winner.

A solitary break of serve was enough for Dimitrov to take the first set, but the 22-year-old lost the second despite conceding just two unforced errors.

Dimitrov has been known in the past to hit a similar number of mistakes as he does winners, but the Bulgarian was playing efficient tennis against the Canadian and it earned him the third set 6-4.

The fourth was dominated by serve, but after a lengthy tie-break, it was Dimitrov who prevailed to move through to a last-16 encounter with Roberto Bautista Agut.
