Fifth seed Tomas Berdych overcame South Africa's Kevin Anderson in straight sets on Sunday to progress to the quarter-finals of the Australian Open.
The Czech-born 27-year-old, who will now face either Novak Djokovic or Stanislas Wawrinka, won 6-3 6-2 7-6 in 164 minutes on Margaret Court Arena.
Berdych won 34 of 54 points in the opening set, breaking to love twice in the process.
He then broke Anderson's serve again in the first game of the second set, which he won convincingly.
Anderson was broken once more at the start of set three, however the South African managed to fight back and force a tie break.
Berdych dropped just one point on his own serve during the breaker, saving set point on four occasions before eventually prevailing 15-13.
