Novak Djokovic books Rafael Nadal final at ATP World Tour Finals

Novak Djokovic beats Stanislas Wawrinka 6-3 6-3 to reach the final of the ATP World Tour Finals in London.

Novak Djokovic has beaten Stanislas Wawrinka in straight sets to book a final showdown with Rafael Nadal at the season-ending ATP World Tour Finals in London.

The Serb triumphed 6-3 6-3 in one hour and 25 minutes on court at the O2 Arena, putting himself in contention for his third title following successes in 2008 and 2012.

Wawrinka made a brilliant start by breaking in the first game of the match, but he could not hold onto his own, as Djokovic made an immediate reply.

The world number two then broke through to move 5-3 ahead, and he served out for a one-set lead.

It was Djokovic's turn to take Wawrinka's serve in the first game of the second set, and although the Swiss battled hard, he had no answer to the brilliance of his opponent, who has one final chance to beat his Spanish nemesis.
