Andy Murray discovers ATP World Tour Finals group

New world number one Andy Murray is drawn alongside Stanislas Wawrinka, Kei Nishikori and Marin Cilic at the season-ending ATP World Tour Finals in London.

New world number one Andy Murray has been drawn alongside Stanislas Wawrinka, Kei Nishikori and Marin Cilic in Group John McEnroe at the ATP World Tour Finals.

The Scot will go into the season-ending tournament in London having scaled the top of the world rankings for the first time in his career courtesy of victory at the Paris Masters.

The 29-year-old will look to claim his first ATP World Tour Final trophy to cap off a remarkable year that has seen him win Wimbledon for a second time and successfully defend his Olympic gold medal in Rio.

However, he will have to overcome five-time champion Novak Djokovic, who was dethroned by Murray after 28 months as world number one.

Djokovic, who has won the tournament in each of the past four years, has been drawn in a group alongside Milos Raonic, Gael Monfils and Dominic Thiem in Group Ivan Lendl.

The tournament will get underway on November 13 at the O2 Arena in London.
