Britain's Harriet Dart, Jay Clarke and Liam Broady all bow out in Qualifying for the Miami Open in straight sets to their respective opponents.

Great Britain saw three Miami Open Qualifying hopefuls fall at the first hurdle of the ATP and WTA 1000 event on Monday.

Twenty-three-year-old Jay Clarke was up first for the Brits but was comfortably swept aside by the USA's Bjorn Fratangelo, who stormed to a 6-2 6-1 victory over the former number-one ranked British junior.

Fresh from reaching the fourth round of the Indian Wells Masters, Harriet Dart was paired with Germany's Tatjana Maria in Qualifying but also went down in straight sets 3-6 3-6 to her counterpart.

Finally, Liam Broady became GB's third straight-sets victim on the day, as American Christopher Eubanks won 6-4 6-2 to move one step closer to reaching the first round proper.

Heather Watson and Emma Raducanu are now GB's only hopes in the women's singles tournament, with the former taking on Arantxa Rus in her first-round match later on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Andy Murray, Cameron Norrie, Dan Evans and Jack Draper will fly the flag for GB in the men's singles event, with the latter taking on Gilles Simon of France for the chance to set up an all-British second-round match with Norrie.
