Portugal's Rui Braganca wins taekwondo gold at European Games

Portugal wrestler Rui Braganca wins his country's second gold medal of the European Games by claiming victory in the final of the -58kg taekwondo.

Portugal's Rui Braganca has claimed the gold medal in the men's -58kg taekwondo at the European Games.

The 23-year-old beat Mohammed Si Ketbi of Belgium in the semi-finals of the competition to set up his showdown against Spain's Jesus Tortosa Cabrera.

The final was closely fought at Crystal Hall, but Braganca managed to edge out the Spaniard to clinch his country's second gold medal of the Games, while Cabrera was forced to settle for silver.

Si Ketbi won Belgium's first medal of the Games as he secured bronze, while Germany's Leven Tuncat also claimed a bronze medal.
