Great Britain reach women's 4x100m medley relay final

Great Britain are through to the women's 4x100m medley relay final with the seventh-fastest time in the heats at the World Swimming Championships in Russia.

Great Britain will compete in the last event of the World Swimming Championships after the women's team qualified for the final of the 4x100m medley relay.

Lauren Quigley, Siobhan-Marie O'Connor, Rachael Kelly and Rebecca Turner were third in their heat, which left them seventh overall in the standings.

China won the same heat that the British team were involved in, with their time of 3:57.04 the quickest of the morning.

However, the United States were just 0.08 seconds behind with victory in the second heat, while Australia also went quick to win their heat.

This evening's final is the last event on the meeting's schedule.
