Ellie Simmonds wins silver in the final of the S6 100m.

Ellie Simmonds has taken silver in the final of the S6 100m final after a rapid final 50m.

Simmonds was beaten by a world record from the United States favourite Victoria Arlen, who touched home in 1:13.33.

Simmonds's time was a European record of 1:14.82, as she comfortably held off Tanja Groepper of Germany who posted 1:16.83.
