James Crisp is edged out of medal contention in the final of the men's SM9 200m medley.

James Crisp has been edged out of medal contention in the final of the men's SM9 200m medley.

Crisp did well to get himself into the bronze medal position before the final turn but he eventually ended fifth with a time of 2:21.10.

Matthew Cowdrey of Australia helped himself to his 12th Paralympic gold medal with a time of 2:15.95.

Andriy Kalina of Ukraine took silver, his time a European record 2:16.38, with Italy's Federico Morlacchi taking bronze.
