Claire Cashmore claims silver for Great Britain in the SB8 100m breaststroke.

Claire Cashmore of ParalympicsGB has taken a credible silver medal in the final of the SB8 100m breaststroke.

Russian Federation's Olesya Vladykina won the gold with a fantastic swim, breaking the world record with her 1:17.17 to Cashmore's 1:20.39.

Cashmore was closest to the impressive Vladykina but the result was rarely in doubt throughout the race.

Paulina Wozniak wrapped up a bronze medal for Poland, finishing with a time of 1:22.45.
