Team GB's Hannah Miley has made the semi-finals of the women's 200m individual medley at the Olympics.
The 22-year-old came in fourth in her heat with a finish time of 2:12.27, enough to see her through in an overall tenth.
China's Shiwen Ye, who has already taken gold in the 400m event, was fastest during the heats with a time of 2:08.90.
Caitlin Leverenz of the United States, Katinka Hosszu of Hungary, and Zimbabwe's Kirsty Coventry were among her closest competitors.
Miley's teammate Sophie Allen bowed out of the competition, finishing fifth in her heat.
The women's 200m individual medley semi-final takes place at the Aquatics centre at 8.55pm tonight.
