Great Britain win 4x100m freestyle relay silver

Duncan Scott, Georgia Coates, Darcy Deakin and Martyn Walton win silver for Great Britain in the 4x100m freestyle relay at the European Games.

Great Britain have won silver in this evening's mixed 4x100m freestyle relay at the European Games in Baku.

Team GB, comprised of Duncan Scott, Georgia Coates, Darcy Deakin and Martyn Walton, clocked a time of 3:32.65 but it was not enough to win the gold.

The Russian Federation, who have enjoyed a medal-laden day at the Aquatic Centre, continued that dominance by picking up another first-place finish - and setting a new Games record of 3:30.30.

Germany won bronze in a time of 3:33.74, one place ahead of Italy, who finished ahead of France.

Scott and Walton have already won gold in Baku, having been one half the men's 4x100m relay team that won their event yesterday.
