Molly Renshaw pinches bronze in 200m breaststroke

Australian duo Taylor McKeown and Sally Hunter take gold and silver in the 200m breaststroke final, ahead of England's bronze medalist Molly Renshaw.

Team England's Molly Renshaw held off a challenge from Scotland's Hannah Miley to take bronze in the 200m breaststroke final on Saturday evening.

Renshaw finished with a strong final 50m to stay ahead of the rest of the pack, behind runaway winner Taylor McKeown and her Australian teammate Sally Hunter.

McKeown's winning time was 2:22.36 minutes, almost a second ahead of Hunter and nearly three in front of Renshaw's 2:25.00. Miley finished just outside of the medals in fourth.

There was a surprise push from Jamaican swimmer Alia Atkinson, who was third at the final turn but faded to seventh.
