Ollie Hynd wins England's first Para-swimming gold of the 2014 Commonwealth Games.

Ollie Hynd has added another gold to England's Commonwealth Games collection by coming out on top in the men's Para-sport SM8 200m individual medley.

The medal success for the 19-year-old ensures that he completes a clean sweep of titles in the event, adding to his Paralympic, World and European accolades, to win his country's first Para-swimming gold of the 2014 Games.

Hynd recorded a time of 2:22.86 at the Tollcross Swimming Centre to finish ahead of Australia's Jesse Aungles.

The bronze medal, meanwhile, also went to Australia with Blake Cochrane in third place.
