Neil Robertson has won his first ranking title in two-and-a-half years by beating Mark Selby in the final of the China Open.

The Australian's previous triumph at a ranking event had come when he won the World Open in September 2010.

However, he put himself in an ideal position to end that drought by taking a 6-1 interval lead in a drawn-out first session.

Selby, who is the reigning UK and Masters champion, managed to cut the deficit to two frames, but Robertson responded well to seal a 10-6 victory in Beijing.
