Sports Mole rounds up the second round action from the Shanghai Masters, where former Crucible champion Neil Robertson is knocked out.

Former world champion Neil Robertson has been knocked out of the Shanghai Masters after being whitewashed by Joe Perry.

The Thunder from Down Under, who is ranked 19 places above Perry, failed to pick up a single frame as he fell to a 5-0 defeat.

Another ex-Crucible winner, John Higgins, progressed safely to the third stage courtesy of an equally convincing victory over Ryan Day.

World number two Judd Trump is also through in China after beating Northern Ireland's Mark Allen 5-2, while Mark Williams beat Ricky Walden by the same scoreline.

Jamie Cope could not build on his first-round victory over world number one Mark Selby as he lost 5-1 to Stuart Bingham.

Ali Carter was in impressive form, thrashing Stephen Maguire 5-0, while there were also wins for Graeme Dott and Shaun Murphy, who beat Stephen Lee and Mark King respectively.
