Wales edged out by Australia for skeet shooting gold

Laura Coles of Australia edges out Wales's Elena Allen for a gold medal in the women's skeet shooting event.

Team Wales have narrowly missed out on a gold medal in the women's skeet shooting event.

Elena Allen progressed through to the final where she met Australia's Laura Coles, but she was edged out 14-16 to 13-16 at the Barry Buddon Shooting Centre.

England missed out on a medal altogether after Sarah Gray was defeated by Andri Eleftheriou of Cyprus in the bronze-medal match.

Amber Hill, meanwhile, failed to qualify for the latter stages.
