Wales winger George North has taken part in a full contact session as he continues to recover from injury ahead of the Rugby World Cup.
The Northampton man had been considered a doubt for the upcoming tournament having missed the final 10 weeks of last season due to three concussions in the space of just five months.
The 23-year-old played no part in his nation's 35-21 defeat at the hands of Ireland at the weekend, but forwards coach Robin McBryde offered optimism that he is well on his way back to full fitness.
"We haven't risked the boys who we didn't need to risk, but George was out there playing," McBryde told reporters.
"Someone of George's ability is going to be an addition to any squad in world rugby. To have him back fit, that has given everybody a boost."
North has scored 22 tries in 49 matches for Wales, including three at the last World Cup in 2011.
