Harlequins will be without Nick Evans for at least three weeks because of an ankle injury.
The outside-half suffered the problem during his side's 40-13 victory over Biarritz on Saturday evening.
A scan on the area revealed ligament damage and as a result the 32-year-old has been told to wear a protective boot for the next few days to prevent the injury from being aggravated further.
The New Zealander could return for the Aviva Premiership clash with Bath in late November.
In the meantime, either Rory Clegg or Ben Botica is expected to fill the void.
