Ben Morgan announced as QBE Internationals Man of the Series

Gloucester's Ben Morgan is named England rugby's Man of the Series for the QBE Internationals.

Gloucester Rugby number eight Ben Morgan has been awarded England's Man of the Series for the 2014 QBE Autumn Internationals.

Morgan secured 46.6% of the votes and beat off competition from the likes of England captain Chris Robshaw and Bath duo George Ford and Dave Attwood.

The 25-year-old scored three tries in four games as well as being named man of the match in the Australia Test.

"I think my game has got stronger across the QBE International Series and personally it was a target for me to get into the reckoning for a starting position and then go on to perform against the world's best," Morgan told Gloucester Rugby.

"I think I managed to achieve that across November and I am sure the best of me is still to come."

Morgan received a £1,000 donation to the charity of his choice, Guide Dogs for the Blind.
