Exeter Chiefs vs. Northampton Saints

.

Intro

Henry Slade kicked the home side into an early lead, which was extended when Phil Dollman's mazy run ended with the Chief's man going over in the corner.

Dollman was then denied a second try on the half hour mark when his breakaway score was ruled out for a knock on.

After a sluggish start for the league leaders, James Wilson dragged the Saints back into the game when he touched down in the corner to leave the score at 8-5 at the break.
