Exeter Chiefs have bounced back from defeat to beat Sale Sharks 37-12 at Sandy Park this afternoon.
Phil Dollman put the home side ahead inside ten minutes, before fly-half Ignacio Mieres fired a pair of penalties through the posts to increase Exeter's lead.
Mieres added another two points to his total, converting Richard Baxter's five with little time left in the half.
Substitute Nic Sestaret continued the scoring in the second half, adding another five points to the host's total.
Wing Matt Jess took their total to 28 points unanswered, before Mieres's conversion made it 30 on the afternoon.
Sharks substitute Luther Burrell finally put points on the boards for Sale as the final ten minutes approached. However, despite another late try by Tony Buckley, the hosts grabbed a late penalty try to seal the game.
