England coach Stuart Lancaster believes that Danny Cipriani has a chance to prove his worth after being included in the Six Nations training squad.
The 27-year-old has been welcomed back into the England fold for the first time since 2008 due to his impressive form for Sale Sharks.
Nick Easter, who last represented his country in 2011, has also been included in the 34-man party.
"It's a chance for Danny to come in and put a marker down," BBC Sport quotes Lancaster as saying. "Nick has not been involved before with me.
"Billy Vunipola was outstanding at the weekend but we need some specialist number eights and Nick, to be fair, has been outstanding and deserves a chance to see if he can replicate that again at international level.
"They are both are in the mix, and we'll see how they go. We base a lot of our decisions on the training."
England's Six Nations opener is against Wales in Cardiff on February 6.
