Mike Ford: 'Draw feels like defeat'

Mike Ford says that Bath feel deflated following last night's 27-27 draw with Leicester Tigers at Welford Road.

Bath head coach Mike Ford has said that yesterday's 27-27 draw with Leicester Tigers feels like a defeat.

Richard Cockerill's men fought back from the brink thanks to a Jamie Gibson try two minutes from time at Welford Road.

"That feels like bit of a loss, which is good because it shows how far we've come," Sky Sports News quotes Ford as saying.

"We're still third in the table, we have 10 games left with six of them at home. We're in a strong position, but we still have to prove it.

"If we have to come back here in the playoffs, then we won't be afraid."

Bath are four points ahead of fourth-placed Harlequins.
