Australia coach Michael Cheika has suggested that New Zealand will feel confident of beating the Wallabies in next weekend's Rugby World Cup final because of the recent head-to-head record between the duo.
Australia reached their fourth World Cup final by overcoming a dogged Argentina 29-15 today and for the first time they will face New Zealand in the tournament's last match.
The Wallabies have won just one of their last 10 matches against the All Blacks and Cheika claimed that they will need "something special" to deny New Zealand becoming the first team to retain the World Cup.
"They are obviously the world number one, and there for a reason," Cheika told reporters at Twickenham. "We have only beaten them once in the last 10, so they will be feeling pretty good that they have got our measure.
"We have to do something special to be even competitive and then we will see. It is a World Cup final so the adrenaline will be pumping and anyone sore will forget about it."
Australia and New Zealand meeting in the final ensures that one of them will win the Webb Ellis Cup for a record-setting third time.
