Cole Harden has won the World Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival after a powerful display on Thursday afternoon.
Like in the previous race which was won by 19-time champion jockey Tony McCoy, Gavin Sheehan made all of the running on the 14/1 horse to give himself the advantage heading into the final fences.
After clearing the last, Cole Harden, trained by Warren Greatrex, was threatened by Saphir Du Rheu but the trailing horse didn't have enough to deny the leader, who won by around three lengths.
Zarkandar made a mistake two fences out but he recovered enough ground to take third spot.
