West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino has been issued with a year-long driving ban after pleading guilty to drink-driving.
The 21-year-old was arrested by Cheshire Police in the early hours of October 22 for driving at "high speeds" near junction 20 of the Southbound M6.
Today, North Cheshire Magistrates punished Berahino with a 12-month ban and a £3,400 fine, according to BBC News.
The England Under-21 international, who has been linked to Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool in this January transfer window, has scored 14 times in 25 appearances for West Brom.
