Eugenie Bouchard has begun legal action after suffering concussion following a fall in the changing rooms at 2015 US Open.
The 21-year-old has filed a lawsuit which has stated that she will be seeking damages worth "millions and millions" of dollars.
Bouchard withdrew from the tournament following her fall and could not compete in the China Open on October 5 after complaining of dizziness.
The lawsuit includes the allegation that Bouchard "was caused to slip and fall on a dangerous condition created by the defendants in the physiotherapy room attendant to the women's locker room".
It continued to state that Bouchard suffered a "severe injury to her head, including, but not limited to, a concussion".
Bouchard has seen her WTA ranking crash from 25 to 39 during her absence from the sport.
