Twitter user AVB receives abuse from Tottenham Hotspur fans

A Twitter user with the handle @AVB receives hoards of abuse from Tottenham Hotspur fans following yesterday's defeat to Liverpool.

A Twitter user with the handle @AVB has received abuse from Tottenham Hotspur supporters, who have mistaken the name for Andre Villas-Boas.

The page belonging to Ashley Van Buren was targeted by a number of disgruntled Spurs fans following yesterday's 5-0 defeat to Liverpool at White Hart Lane.

The user responded to the tweets by writing: "Reminder that I am NOT the U.K. football coach, so if you send me a death threat meant for him, I'm gonna tweet you a musical theater lyric."

Following yesterday's result, Villas-Boas was sacked by the club this morning.
