Leicester City players refused nightclub entry

Four Leicester City players are denied entry to a top London nightclub before being asked to step aside to let Tottenham Hotspur players past.

A number of Leicester City players were denied entry to a top London nightclub last night, hours after the Foxes went five points clear at the top of the Premier League.

Danny Drinkwater headed to the trendy club Drama in Mayfair to celebrate his 26th birthday with teammates Andy King, Matty James and Ben Hamer but they were turned away by bouncers.

As they attempted to talk the door staff around, the quartet were actually asked to step aside to let in Hugo Lloris, Eric Dier and Nacer Chadli from their title rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

After some time, the players eventually admitted defeat and left in a cab for another venue, according to The Mirror.

The Leicester squad were in London after defeating Watford 1-0 in the evening kickoff.
